Ho Chi Minh Airport Bus

In this page you’ll find all the Bus options at Tan So Nhat International Airport (SGN).

Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN), is the main airport of Vietnam, in the southeast of the country, serving Ho Chi Minh city. Concretely, the airport is located about 10 km away from Ho Chi Minh city centre.

You’ll find several bus lines at the Airport, but basically, there are 3 bus lines going from SGN Airport to Ho Chi Minh city centre:

Yellow Line 109
It operates from 5:30h in the morning until 1:00 at night. The route under 5 km costs 12.000 VND and over 5 km 20.000 (around 1$). The bus is operating with a frecuency of around 20-30 minutes. The whole bus trip from the Airport to the 23rd September Park in the city centre takes around 45 minutes. You’ll find the bus station in front of both domestic and international arrivals entrances. The route is the following: international terminal, domestic terminal, truong son, tran quoc hoan, hoang van thu, nguyen van troi, nam ky khoi nghia, le duan, cong xa paris, dong khoi, dong du, hai ba trung, ton duc thang, ham nghi, ben thanh, pham ngu lao, nguyen trai, le lai, nguyen huu canh, cach mang thang 8, dien bien phu, nam ky khoi nghia, nguyen van troi, phan dinh giot, truong son and international terminal again.

Yellow Line 49
This bus is very useful because is taking every passenger to his/her hotel, and that’s why the price is the double, 40.000 VND (around 2$), without an extra charge for luggage. The aproximate time of the route is also of 45 minutes, always depending on how many passengers it has. The route is similar than the bus line 109 above.

Green Line 152
The green line is also connecting the Ho Chi Minh Airport with the Ho Chi Minh city centre, but the route is longer so it has more stops. The price is cheaper, it costs 5.000 VND (0,25$) and and additional charge for luggage of another 0,25$ per peace.
